The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

I honestly don't read the books (and don't ever plan to) but I do enjoy the movies for Harry Potter, despite the fact that some friends always complain that "it's not like the book!". :yell:

I can't really say I'm excited, but I will go see it for sure.

Aw, but the books tell so much more than the movies! Either way, the movies are fun to watch, even though they leave out some stuff from the book. I'm currently re-reading (as I've mentioned before) and I can't wait to go see it... I just hope to get a good seat.

I think the movies are better paced in some cases. Order of the Phoenix is, in my opinion, much better as a movie than as a book. That book was so poorly presented... But some of the ommissions are absolutely atrocious. Prizoner of Azkaban totally missed the point as a film... How do we go that whole movie and not once explain who "Moonie, Wormtale, Padfoot, and Prongs" are, or why Harry's patronous is what it is? Its practically a sin when a film requires you to have read the book in order to know what's really going on, so Azkaban is a superior book over its film counterpart. Both formats have their highs and lows.

Considering Half-Blood Prince is my favorite of all the books I'm really looking forward to seeing it as a film.

Meh. The Harry Potter series sort of lost its luster for me over the years.

BLANK KILLS BLANK- oh wait

At least it isn't Twilight ~

Well i'll probably go around and see it, I mean I've stuck with the movies so far when I was younger and they were pretty good. I don't see why it would hurt to keep going =d

Pinhead: I kind of agree, but I still enjoy reading them. They keep me awake, unlike other books, I'm afraid. XD

Ghostbane: Yes, BLANK KILLS BLANK. Sorry for spoilers, to whomever didn't know. I'm also glad that it isn't Twilight as well, because I am still mad that the movie was the reason why HBP didn't come out earlier. :(

As for me, I am still re-reading - haven't had much time to, but I'm clearly more than halfway done. I hope I can get tickets early and get the best seats in the theatre, because I've never been able to before, which is pretty sad. I'm still excited, though. Can't wait for July!

Both of you please read this: http://itadaki.freeforums.org/no-spoilers-t4.html

There's a rule for NO SPOILERS posted as a sticky in this forum. I didn't know that and I only watch the movies. :/ I've editted both your posts to remove the spoilers for others that are in the same boat as me.

I'd also like to mention that this was my least favorite of all the books. The movie can only go up from there.

I think that the books are better than the movies in general, because they usually have so much more information than the movies. I really hate when movies cut out parts that are important, and stuff... personally, I was disappointed with the 5th movie. It was so short, and it was the longest book, I was kind of bummed at the end but I enjoyed it all the same, because it had a lot of stuff down from the book, just not a lot. And I did cry, at the end.
