The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

Anthony Bourdain : No Reservations

I LOOOOOOVE this show, it has got be my current favorite if not all time favorite show on television. My favorite episodes are Korea, Osaka, Pacific Northwest, Singapore, Spain, Indonesia, and...maybe a couple other but that's all I could think of. He does a really good job with being open minded about all the cultures he visits and respects them. He knows how to really just take it in. He's only snarky towards pretentious fine dining establishments, that is relatively fine since that's pretty much where he's from and he knows what he's being snarky towards. He seems to like Southeast Asia the most and it shows, he seems to have the most fun there and most the time the most delicious looking foods. As well as great photography to be had in Asia.

Anyone else out there a fan of the show? If so what are you favorite episodes or things about the show you like?

It's on Travel Channel.

No Reservations is a fabulous show. I can't really pick a favorite thing I like about it, cept that Bourdain has exceptional taste in food usually. But I think my favorite episode will always be "Osaka". WAHA
