The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

Asian Drama shows?

Postby Chevi on Fri Aug 01, 2008 7:46 pm

I'm a fan of Asian drama shows. First one I ever got into was a Japanese one on the International Channel in my area a loooong time ago, though I've now forgotten the name. And ever since finding out they showed those, I watched a few here and there on the channel, that is until they stopped showing them with subtitles, and eventually the channel went down.

I currently watch them online whenever I can find them. Maybe a few people on the board watch them too, that I don't know about. What I like about asian drama is that they usually are only less than 20 episodes, so I don't have to keep up with one that's really long. So it takes me a week to finish one series.

My favorites are: (all in Japanese)

Densha Otoko
GTO
Friends
Last Friends (currently on episode 5)

I'm not really a watcher of Asian drama, but I will speak for my sister when I say she LOVES K-Drama. She actually owns six Korean titles: The Sweet Spy, Sassy Girl Chun-Heoyn, Witch Yoo Hee, I'm Sorry I Love You, What Planet Are You From and Wedding Bliss. She especially loves the first title, only because the main Korean actor can speak perfect English (taboo with KBS and fans).

I haven't watched any Korean dramas yet. I dunno if I will or not. Girl's voices annoy me a bit. "Friends" was a joint project of Japanese and Korean drama, and I really liked that one. And I'll watch the mini drama specials of my favorite K-pop stars, like "DBSK".

I've been watching Mei-chan no Shitsuji... >.> Also, Sexy Voice and Robo was really good! Um, and I liked Cutie Honey the Live.
