(Yes! Finally I'll be starting off with an RP idea that's been floating about for a while. After many busy weeks filing for scholarships and school works, I'm ready to try and get some of this going once more :3)

Mother Earth

Story
Welcome chosen ones. You've been experiencing rather strange events as of late..The air is just riddled with darkness as everything you know in your peaceful town is slowly transforming. Animals, townsfolk, and even the stop signs are getting very agressive and threaten your everyday life! The world is changing, the evil Giygas' hold over our peaceful planet is growing stronger, and only those pure of heart and soul can stop this threat. This is where you come in. Your journey will take you far and wide, but do not be afraid, you have what it takes. Arm yourselves brave ones, and remember...

Be sure to pack extra underwear.

What's going on?
Well we'll be traveling all over the world, meeting rather strange and quirky people, all the while defending ourselves from road signs, runaway dogs, and the occasional lunch special gone rouge. Sounds fun ~

Weapons
Since all characters are roughly going to be around the ages of 10-13, you're going to have to think realistically on what your character is going to be armed with(or lack or weapon if you'd prefer). Remember, an axe or a sword is probably not going to cut it. Be creative. Using things like bats, yo-yos, toy lightsabers, your CD collection; all perfectly fine

Abilities and PSI powers
If your character is going to have PSI, he can't have an ability, and vice versa.If you decide to have PSI, then you can't have it all. There's three main types: healing, offensive, and support. Healing PSI will heal injuries and cure any afflicting status ailments, offensive PSI will hurt enemies, and support PSI will offer buffs and shields, as well as causing status ailments.

If you DON'T choose to have PSI, you can have abilities that appeal to your character. For instance, if your character is a complete tank brute who beats the crap out of others large heavy objects, then you can expand on that by having his/her special ability build off of that. If your character likes to steal things from the local drugstore, his abilities could consist of putting things to sleep, or confusing them. You be creative.

Final Word
This RP is based around EarthBound, so it's mainly going to be incredibly light-hearted, and entertaining. Your character's need to be quirky, generally lulzy and the same goes with your RPing. There's no real need to have any tragic pasts or deaths of anykind, since that kind of defeats the purpose of EB (YES I know Mother3 is more tragic than the rest of the series, but it still does retain it's sense of humor.) Let's keep this simple and fun for all~

Weapon: Trick and weapon based yo-yos. He prefers to get non big brand names or even custom-made.

Ability: Support PSI powers. Can use status buffs such as Shields, Haste, or PSI - Resistant Fields. They only way he can cast such amazing feats is to channel the PSI energy through his yo-yo and smack you guud

Bio: Matt is just one of those kids you hang around to see him do something super amazing. Whether it be a new yo-yo trick he invented, or perhaps his personal stand-up based on the cafeteria food at lunch. He's a pretty much all around enjoyable person to hang around. He doesn't draw too much attention to himself, he prefers to let his friends come to him when they want to see him show off. He currently lives in a single floor house off in the western section of "Town-we-all-start-in," a few blocks down the drugstore if he ever felt like picking up new parts for yo-yos.

Appearance: Typical 11 year old shota boy. He has dirty blonde hair or medium length, usually messy all over and having his tips come together to points in the front. Has sea blue eyes (though that's what we tell him even if his eyes are big black dots ._. ) and wears a bandage over his cheek from a yo-yo based accident which totally wasn't his fault. At all. He usually wears summer types of clothing, which is probably coolio T-shirts and denim shorts. To try and be cool he wears fingerless gloves, followed by slim white sneakers to add to his radness.

I've never played Earth Bound.

Name: Ourk Desporeux (Just call him Ork for short)

Age: 13.5

Gender: Male

Weapon: Chop Sticks

PSI: Attack Psi: While elemental Psi powers are somewhat too advanced for Ork, he is a master of standard telekinesis. Using telekinesis he can throw enemies and also throw "psi bolts", pulses of raw Psi power, at foes. However he is a master of using small objects (mainly his chop sticks) as leathal weapons by wrapping them in Psi energy and smacking the enemy with them or by using them as projectile weapons.

Bio: Growing up Ork had a dull life. There was nothing interesting until he discovered his Psi power at four. From then on he trained his abilities away from the prying eyes of his parents, whom he felt would not approve. When Giygas took control of everything, Ork was at home playing video games and his parents were at the super market. When a rabid dog dressed like a ninja broke through his window the only trusty tools he had on him at that moment was his telekinesis and a pair of chop sticks (because he was eating sushi at the time) and quite thusly trounced the rabid ninja dog into a bloody pulp...and went back to his sushi and video games. After about 30 minuets he noticed the state of things outside, he grabbed his chop sticks, and an extra pack of underwear and his serious face and headed out.

Appearance: Tall(ish) for his age, he has naturally shoulder length jet black hair, cream colored complection and green eyes. He mainly wears jeans, sneakers, and a red and white stripped shirt with the sleeves torn off (or so he says). His hair is usually in a "scene style" (even when he denies it).

yup I say you're pretty much on the right track. And yay interest!

But there's only one thing I could ask you to fix up a bit, and that's just your PSI power. ~ Just add a bit more detail here and there to what you can do, but otherwise I think it's good ;3

Yup yup :O all good as I can see.

Now to wait and see if anymore people are gonna be interested ^^;
