The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

Favorite snack foods

What's your favorite food to eat when your kinda-sorta hungry, but it's not time for one of the main meals of the day (in other words snack time)?

I like to cook hot dogs and vienna sausages. Some times when I want a hot dog I'll cut it up cover it in cheese then cook it (in a microwave, because I might burn something by using the stove XD) and put it on a tortilla wrap and put some ranch dressing, mustard and occaisionly barbacue sauce on it. It's really good. With the vienna sausages I just grab some mustard and dip the sausages in the mustard.

And sometimes I eat chocolate.

Hmm...snack food huh?

Pocky...(yes I'm otaku like that...)

Actually, my favorite type of snacks when I'm drawing or I'm not really hungry I love to go to the asian market/store and get small things like Pocky, Pretz, Yakult (mini yogurt drink), Caramel Corn, Snacku, and others...

Take 5, Lays Original Flavor Chips, Little Debbie Nutty Bars, M&M's, Dark Chocolate, Hostess Cupcakes (not so much now since they changed the filling and it's not as good anymore), Coca Cola

Low-sodium Saltine crackers. Did it since I was a kid -- I'll eat a whole damn bag by myself if I'm hungry enough and not paying attention >.> Mmmm... surprisingly tasty though. And they're little more than carbs.

Crackers are good. Rice cakes are good.

...But I gotta say...My all-time favorite snack is popcorn.

Snickers Almond, Watchamacallit, Payday.. sometimes though. Tortilla chips.

drinks can fill you up too.. whether it be water, seltzer, lemonade, or cola 8|

if only we had a microwave to cook hot dogs.. we have a sandwich press though it takes too long for a snack. Hot dogs are a meal for me. I like to put relish on them.

Drinks can be a 'snack', sure. Though watch out on them sodas. My naturally-scrawny brother who couldn't gain weight to save his life is suddenly getting a nice little pot-belly because he drinks 1-3 20 oz.s a day ~_~

I do pretty much the same thing as your brother, and yet I'm stuck at 122 lbs.

Yes, sugar is definately a culprit, but the salt retains water in the bodily systems! Kinda ironic for a drink to make you thirsty!
