The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

I'm a rabid fan of Jhonen's work, primarily of Johnny The Homicidal Maniac (see avatar).

I'm desperately trying to find a copy of Squee without having to order it on the net, but it seems that's what I'm gonna have to do.

I see Squee a lot at conventions around here. Stinks you can't find it other than the net.

I like Filler Bunny, that's the only J.V. thing I currently own (2 small books). I read Squee, but that was a long time ago.

Friend had the complete Johnny, would sit and gradually read through it as I was hanging in his room back at the old school.

Has he done anything else? My thumb's waaay off the pulse but I've heard nothing in casual either, and I thought I'd hear if he had a project.

*Grave Digging*

Finally got my copy of Squee. Very good, completely different tone from Johnny.

To an ages old question above:

He did JTHM and Squee before Invader Zim, after Invader Zim he did a two-shot about Devi from JTHM called I Feel Sick. Recently he put out a one shot collaboration called Jellyfist.

He's also directed the video for MSI's Shut Me Up, and done the artwork for the deluxe and Vinyl versions for their album IF.
