The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

*plays Mitsurugi a lot*
^_^
I wonder what secret character they'll have in the next game though
this one had Vader, The Apprentice, Yoda, and that one girl from Sgt. Frog
which really really threw me for a loop

I miss having Link...
He was the only secret character from 2 that actually belonged. Too bad he was overpowered. I'd love for him to come back and be a little more in line.

Soul Calibur 3 is a fun game. Great art direction, the character customization is deep, the characters created by different character designers was neat, and playing the Star Wars characters on the Star Wars stage is fun. Star Killer actually has a better character model in this game than his own game, Force Unleashed, that's pretty funny.
All that being said it would be really nice to go back to a straight up no fluff fighting game. All those bells and whistles are nice but I'd be more into a game with only Soul Calibur characters. The Star Wars characters are emphasized too much, the Star Wars content really needs to take a back seat. I'd like to play a Soul Calibur game with only Soul Calibur content, no character customizations. Have it have solid game mechanics and the main focus be on that, just a simple straight up, no BS, intense, engaging fighter. The quest modes don't really do much to detract from that aspect of the game so that could stay.
Other than that I like how Talim is somewhat un-nerfed, I really liked her in 2 and I could add her back to the list of characters I play along with Kilik and Mitsurugi.

You mean 4, right? Are you serious, Talim's been somewhat unretardified? She was a solid, fun, and unique character in 2 but in 3 she was horrible. :(

I agree too, I want it to go back to being the actual characters! I liked that about 3. No Necrid or guest characters rompin around. I'm sad to hear that SC4 is like a universe collides Star Wars game.
