The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

Split a bagel down the middle so you can toast it, and add lunch meat after toasting.

Coffee and bread with cheddar cheese to dip into it is my favorite quickie breakfast. I also like leftover cake or pie, danishes, donuts, usually any sweet or pastry that goes with my coffee. :D

Usually I don't have time for breakfast in the morning, but when I do, I usually just toast a cinnamon raisin walnut bagel and either spread some jam, cream cheese or hummus on it. And with that, I usually have a glass of water, since water's a really good way to start the day. I would make tea, but I just don't have the time! =]

I usually don't eat breakfast, mainly because when I wake up, I'm not really hungry (or I'm not awake when breakfast is traditionally served). Lately, I've been awake at the time, but have no breakfast food. D:

How quick are we talking? There's a great, filling food that takes only like 5-10 minutes to prepare, but it sits with you a lot longer than regular foods. It's called Cream of Wheat. A cup of that and two cups of milk, stirring it thoroughly in the pan while it's cooking, and you get a porridge-like food...but I usually add chocolate chips, brown sugar, and butter to make it a deliciously sweet food. <3
