The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

I thought it was definitely awesome, but it's been getting mixed reviews online. I think mostly because people didn't really know what they were getting into. Which is weird because I'm not a fan of the comic, and I went in thinking I'd hate it, but maybe that's why.

Read the comic, and I just got back from the movie.

It was pretty good.

Its more or less exactly what it should be, so why people would be upset with it is, I think, a matter of their expectation. Its a movie about heroes making very unheroic decisions, I don't think that fits well with some people.

I personally like it a lot, but I think I've seen enough immense blue endowment for the time being. Great film, good story, interesting subject.

If you're curious as to how all this play out after the film is over, consider the name Ozymandias...

Ozymandias is a fictional figure from an old poem. In the poem, the speaker describes his encounter with a traveling merchant, and the merchant tells him of a statue he saw. This statue is impressively large and of a person, but broken and and crumbling down to nothing but the legs. It sits atop a plaque with writing on it, it reads:

"My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!"

Yet all around, as far as they can see from the statue, is nothing but desert. Whatever Ozymandias had made, however powerful he may have been, it did not last.

Ozymandias was also another name for Ramses the Great, which was the reasoning behind all the Egyptian imagery surrounding Adrian.

What bothers me is everyone complains about Dr. Manhattan's junk. :yell: So what if he's nude, it's not like he was running around with it erect or butt raping other dudes. It's like people can't just let it go. It makes sense for him (according to the comic), so I don't really see the problem. If a girl was nude the entire movie, I almost guarantee no one would say anything about that... :darn:

Made perfect sense to me. I mean, when you're an immortal celestial being, clothing really is just a suggestion.

Meh, to the people complaining about it, I can't believe they can't get over their insecurities for a few hours or, you know, not fixate on Manhattan's c*ck

BLUE PENIS

Now that's it's been said. Do I feel better, smarter, more mature? Probably not

I wonder why everyone else says it?

He's not nude. Just in a transparent GIMP suit (I wonder if that'll make people feel better)
