The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

New Releases

Is anyone out there keeping up with the newest stuff coming out in Japan? And if so, is there anything worth recommending?

My current anime that I'm quite enthused with (other than Soul Eater) is Minami-ke. A story of three sisters - the youngest, Chiaki, a near-emotionless genius, who usually is antagonized by/antagonizing the middle sister, Kana, who is an over-exuberant idiot. And then there is Haruka, the eldest. A bishoujo like no other with remarkable cooking, cleaning and housework skill, on top of that fact that she'd made a legend for herself at her high school, known as Banchou (Boss).

So far, three seasons are out, the third still on-going. Minami-ke, Minami-ke Okawari, and Minami-ke Okaeri.

I recommend this! :D

I just watched the first episode of ToraDora. It's really cute, sort of reminds me of Haruhi in way.

Watched the first episode of Minami-Ke. Reminds of Lucky Star, only you don't have to be clued in on all the foreign pop-culture to get the humor.
