The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

The Itadaki Forum is all about cultivating this.

Songs you can't stand!

Whether they get stuck in your head, you can't stand hearing them, or they just...bring bad memories, what songs do you hate?

Hollaback Girl, hands down, no question. It should be classified as chemical warfare and banned by the Geneva Convention.

One small silver lining on this piece of crap though is that I'll never misspell banana again

Bana... not far enough.

Bananana... *damn*

Girlfriend. Ok, the song was alright, but was way to damn overplayed on the radio. The capper was when it was in the video game Burnout Revenge in five different languages! When it plays five races in a row, I was about to kill.

No more Avril Lavine for me.

I'd like to say that Fall Out Boy's version of Beat It is the worse thing I have ever heard in my short life. I would go so far as to say it could be used as a form of psychological warfare.

Another Little Regret, or whatever the song's name is. Like Avril's, (overplayed) but now its on the trailer at work, so it plays about every 40 minutes. Its the only the second song that I hit next on the DVD player's remote at work. The other was some God awful rap using Wheels on the Bus. I refused to let that one play.

Chevi hit the nail on the head with a couple of things: MIA is shit. At a Festival, they were there, and not only was it godawful, it was so loud you could hear it over the other freaking bands across the way. Only cool thing was they had some intense bass that shook the whole area, like an earthquake.

And McFrontalot has very few songs that actually don't suck. The only one I can name is the one about the grue, because it just fits Zork so perfectly, and he's actually on a good beat and rythem.

I Kissed A Girl I hate because of the principle. It's an _okay_ song, and I've heard a couple good remixes of it, but damn, it's about a stupid **** who is trying out a chick because she's a ****, not because she's actually a lesbian. >: It's not about being a lesbian at all, and I disapprove of that mindset.

And now for the one I hate more than anything and cannot stand: Trace Adkins - Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. My sister thought it was cool to like a genre none of her friends liked, so for about 6 months, she pretended to be obsessed with Country. And all I remember is my sister listening to this song a bunch and pretending to love it. >:
