Okay now i know that not alot of people will care exactly about how food is cooked so long as it tastes delicious and goes down fine, but...have there ever been moments where you found yourself asking "Yes but...why?" when it comes to preparing food.

One such an occasion was trying to figure out why/how my dad would grill bacon...
And actually making it work

My dad bought a new grill recently that said "you can even grill a pizza!", apparently. I think you actually can, too. Haven't tried it out yet.

I've cooked some stuff with a propane torch before.
