The Desire for the Journey

We walk the paths in the journey of our artistic lives. It doesn't matter how far a person has gone, or if even if the way has been lost, as long as the passion, the love and the joy are still there we believe that every moment is a step forward. The desire to keep walking is all that matters and all that is required.

Empty Your Cup

We believe in humbling oneself, putting the ego aside, and always keeping an open mind. It does not matter how much a person learns or how much his or her skill has developed, there is always a chance to learn something new even from the most novice seeming.

The teacup is the symbol of Itadaki. The only way to taste the tea of another person is to empty your cup.

I'm currently really only keeping up with Naruto. Not really as exciting as it's been in the past, but I don't want to fall behind.

Same with me, I keep up with Naruto, but lately I've been disappointed with it.

I just picked up Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life by Bryan Lee O'Malley today from the library. Attack of the Show (G4tv.com) suggsted it, and I wanted a comic to read. I'll let you know how it is once I start reading.

Manga Wise:

Return to the Labyrinth (Absolutely love it, a continuation from the 1987 film!) It's really good, taking way too long for the next installment though

Kingdom Hearts series (really enjoying this got the box set for the first kingdom hearts manga and the Chain of Memories, although I have not yet had the opportunity to read the second installment KHII which is annoying, come out in a box set already!)

Currently I'm reading Naruto and Hellsing. I must say though, Naruto's quality has taken a nosedive in the last thirty or so chapters. *hangs a sign that says 'Let's Go Kill Sasuke'*

Ugh, I know. It's maddening. Has Kishimoto forgotten who his main character is?

I've been reading Blade of the Immortal for over 10 years now. Its simply fantastic and probably one of the best pieces of graphic storytelling I've seen ^_^

I also have been dabbling in XXX Holic and I LOVE the premise, but lately its getting a little campy for me. Of course you can't spell CLAMP without 'camp'.

I was also reading Shadow Star and Seraphic Feather but Dark Horse cancelled their monthly manga mag and put these two titles on indefinite hiatus. Though Shadow Star was getting a little racy and was edited often, but it is still one of my all-time favorite mangas. Hope they see trans soon or else I need to start brushing back up on my Japanese (getting rusty n.n;;

Thats about it for me ^_^; Always looking for another good series to read!

Been keeping up on Naruto, trying to expand into farther mangas.
I watch all of the current Rosario + Vampire anime, and now am reading the manga, I have also watched a bunch of short animes, but I find manga to be more...interesting.

Turns out Scott Pilgrim is a Canadian comic. *shrugs* its digest size, so close enough. :P Its pretty good. So far its about a guy (Scott, 23) who's been slacking for two years after his last breakup. He starts dating a high schooler, but sees another woman keeps passing by in his dreams. Turns out she's real, and he starts trying to date her.

Its very funny, and worth a shot if you like what I just described.

I just started reading a new manga by the creators of 'Death Note' (I didn't read DN though) called Bakuman. It's a manga about a guy who decides to make manga. XD It's hilarious, really great, I like it so far!
